With everything that’s been going on with my voice, I failed to squeeze in a post about how I FINALLY started Clomid. Go Jen, Go Jen!!! (I am performing the cabbage patch in silence.)
I’ll wait for you to quit cheering.
Go ahead, take your time. I enjoy your enthusiasm.
So, we are really excited. I feel like these pills are tiny little beacons of support reaching down from the clouds and saying, “You gave ‘er your best shot. Now, let us help.” I love when my pills talk to me. Especially if they feel like lending a hand.
So far, I’ve not experienced any of the side effects that I’ve been hearing about. Well, except the moody part. Have you seen the movie “Dumb and Dumber”? Remember the most annoying sound in the world? Sometimes my PMS makes me feel like everyone I pass is making that sound. But, I am not going to blame that on Clomid. I blame that on… Jen.
But the other side effects (the bloating, the tenderness, the hot flashes) haven’t been an issue. Hey experts, when should I be experiencing those? Later on in my cycle?
I don’t care. Side effects, schmide effects. Just please, please trick my brain into making all the goods I need to impregnate and deliver a healthy baby. Even my wieners need a baby in their life. See how excited they were on my first day of Clomid?

Yay! So glad to hear you got started. I love how you describe them as little beacons of hope -yes, they are!Nice manicure by the way
yaaaay so glad you started it!!!
I still have side effects from Clomid and I haven't taken it for 3 years!! But hope it helps…good luck! I wish you NO side effects, everyone is different!
That is good news!! Did I miss the post about your having the hysterselpingogram (I have a new job–been very negligent of reading my favorite blogs!). Clomid WILL work!! I will send you positive energy!! Hugs.
Good luck! Also, cute nails
Hey! ME again. Yup, that was me with the Motrin advice (and a reaffirming, once you have your HSP, it's like a power-wash). I got pregnant the month after I had the HSP and the first month on Clomid. Good luck!!!!
Yes, I did four months of Clomid (we had to take months off during the process because the HCG shots combined with the Clomid were giving me huge cysts). The biggest things that I remember: being insanely HOT and a kajillion times crabbier than my worst PMS. But none of that mattered…honestly, because it's a means to an end.My fingers are so crossed for you that they're cramping! Much love, my friend.
Fingers crossed. Also – I want your manicure.
I'm from Lady Bloggers Society!I see you have PCOS? I do also, though my husband & I aren't trying for babies right now. I imagine it's going to be extremely hard when we do try. I take Metformin for my PCOS, or at least that's what my doctor told me. It doesn't seem to be helping though. I followed you! Come stop by my blog?
I forgot to add, my fingers are definitely crossed for you!
I got the side effects within about 2 days of starting it the first time, and then within 24 hours of starting it on the second and third cycles. It was terrible.
I am wishing you all the best and my prayers are with you! I am expecting to hear a good outcome and I love the wieners and they really do look excited. Found you over on Coffee Talk!
Go Jen, Go Jen, Go Jen……..yeah!!!! This is MIL cherring for DIL.
Love the name of your blog – so cute! So exciting that you're taking the pills – can't wait to see how well they work!
I'm only a few cycle days ahead of you in this crazy clomid ride. I used it CD 3-9 and had night sweats every night. I have used clomid twice before and best I can remember is that I started to get moody around the end of week 3. However, I think that some of the moodiness was due to anxiety and stress. Wishing us both good luck.
Thank-you so much for visiting my blog Jen! I can't wait to read more on your blog. Good luck to you!
